Message FWIW, the endyne pieces also incorporate a reduced taper from skirt to crown, much like your pistons. In addition, he also constructed mine out of 4032 vs 2618. Although not quite as strong, they are more dimensionally stable. As such, he built my block with .0027 clearances vs your .0035.

From what I understand, the OEM piston pin offset actually serves to reduce noise, as it preloads the skirt to reduce the tendency for the piston to rock in the bore, which causes piston slap.

And, yes, this board is full of haters. Get used to it. A large proportion of members on this board are well educated and more conservative in their opinions of aesthetics. In other words, we basically think that body kits which destroy the lines of the car and purple neon brake caliper accents are fucking stupid.
